Georgie Daburas was born on Canadian soil but he was raised in Greece, his family’s native country where at a young age, Georgie found a love for cinema. It is estimated he watched over 8,000 movies by the time he was 18 years of age. Film was not only a retreat for him but it also proved to be a helpful method in learning the English language.  His story begins in Larisa, where he grew up working in and eventually managing his family business. After graduating from high school he studied Accounting in trade school and served in the Armed Forces of Greece.

His life was in Greece, where he grew up working in and eventually managing his family business. After graduating from high school he studied Accounting in trade school and served in the Armed Forces of Greece,
but he couldn’t deny the feeling he was meant to be somewhere else, that he was destined for a different life. So it was in 2006, that Georgie followed that feeling back to Canada. His journey first took him to Banff, Alberta then onto his place of birth, Calgary. Here, he explored the world of modeling and discovered his natural ability to connect with the camera. His modeling led him to his first opportunity to play a small part in a film. The experience of working on the set of a film production and seeing actors in their element is what triggered Georgie’s curiosity for acting.

That curiosity developed into a passionate pursuit to study the craft of acting. His determination led him to Vancouver and through the doors of the William Davis Centre at Vanarts. Since then Georgie has dedicated every waking minute to acting, and to working with and tirelessly helping those within his acting family.

Even though a fresh face in the industry, he showed the poise and professionalism of a seasoned actor and landed the lead role as the infamous ‘John Smith’ in Hitman 101.  Though the series is still finding it’s audience, the consensus from those who have watched is that Georgie is the real deal and that the sky’s the limit to where his talents can take him.

Tim

Official Site

Tim Lyle wasn’t on the path to acting from early childhood like so many others, in fact he didn’t even start to consider it as a career path until 2006 when he moved to Vancouver from Montreal to test the waters of Hollywood North.  Since then he’s been prolific at honing his craft in a plethora of independent productions, most recently the Cineworks funded “Silent Devil” by the up and coming director Ali Hasan.  Being basically a self taught actor, Tim has been known to use unconventional methods to create his characters.  It’s rumored for Hitman 101 he employed his love of gaming and used LA Noire as part of his inspiration for creating his version of the character Detective Madsen.

 Jackie

For Jackie ‘of all trades’ Froese acting is but one of the facets of her life in order to feel alive.  From personal training to modelling to being a chef, Jackie is always on the go.  A notable commercial actress, Jackie has taken serious turns on stage and on screen, but most likely you’ve seen her and didn’t know it – as she body doubled for Jessica Biel in Blade 3.  In Hitman 101 she plays the street wise Detective Cole who’s stuck with a partner who’s perpetually in the Captains doghouse.

Laura

Laura Adkin, a native of Vancouver grew up surrounded by adventure and make believe. Being the only child of a single mom she learned how to be independent from a young age and spent every spare moment of her childhood either on a stage or in an ice rink (her first dream was to play in the NHL, but when that didn’t work out she settled for acting). Since graduating from a fine arts high school Laura has traveled the globe in pursuit of her craft. She has trained in London, England, in Los Angeles as well as right here in Vancouver. Her projects include the sci-fi series “Eureka”, theatre productions of “Hooters” and “Spike Heels”, the upcoming feature film “It’s a Disaster” where she shares screen time with David Cross, America Ferrera, and Julia Styles, as well as taking on a Femme Fatale type role as Eva in  “Hitman 101″. When not in front of the camera or on stage, Laura loves the outdoors, adores shopping (shoes in particular) and is a die hard Vancouver Canucks fan.

Nathan

A classically trained actor with a degree in Theatre from the University of Alberta, Nathan Durec became a thespian of both stage and screen after he moved to Vancouver and attended the New Image School of Fine Arts Film Acting.  Since his foray into the onscreen world Nathan has been in numerous memorable projects including two Cult Classic Exploitation Horrors “Famine” and “Star Vehicle” directed by SPFX Guru Ryan Nicholson of Plotdigger Films.  Though in real life the nicest guy you’d ever meet, Nathan seems to have a knack for the bad guy role… possibly because he’s 6’6″.  In Hitman 101 he tends to steal every scene he’s in as the ominous killer Staal.

Dominika

With Law School and International Modelling already under her belt, Dominika Zybko turned to acting as the next stage in her evolution.  What she found was the one art she is truly passionate about and has been a sponge for learning everything she can about acting since.  By most standards she’d be considered a work in progress, a neophyte in the business still attending classes and workshops yet that hasn’t stopped her from landing roles in various indie projects around Vancouver, plus a certain J.J Abrham’s show Alcatraz… plus acting alongside Jodie Foster in a certain classified project called Elysium, directed by Neill Blomkamp.

Darren Andrichuk Cast Photo

Darren

Darren started acting in highschool and has held it as a favourite passion since. He has been lucky enough to be cast in a variety of rolls on stage, in film and now on the web.  He has studied both at UBC and Studio 58 in Vancouver and has logged many hours in front of his greatest teacher – the big screen TV. He is extremely grateful to all those artistic individuals who have managed to squeeze him into their productions on weekend shoots as the reality of living in one of the most expensive cities makes a day job a necessity. But the dream of  working as a full time actor is never far away and he is constantly pounding the pavement looking for that next great role. He’s currently writing, producing and starring in one of his own web projects called ‘The Pyrenees Chronicles’, with the ever resourceful Rob Hunt. It has lovingly been referred to as a cross between “Highway to Heaven” and “The Littlest Hobo”.  His turn as Capt. Hollis in Hitman 101 is definitely one of the few times you can see him in a tie but he couldn’t be happier to be part of this stellar cast.

John

While studying toward a career in particle acceleration John Andrew Vaas discovered a treasure trove of 16mm films at the library and swayed the curator to allow him to hold screenings of their classics in between his own lectures and laboratory studies. It wouldn’t be long until Johnny began on the long road of practice toward a career in the aficionado arts. As an all-round lover of stoic portrayal, Arch-top guitars and vacuum tube sound, late nights are punctuated with the jingle-jangle of dreamy song writing in between sunny days (and nights) of film and television work.

Frank

After a blow to the ribs and a collapsed lung from a Kick Boxing fight, Frank suffered severe trauma and was hospitalized for a month from complications.  When he was healthy enough to train again,  he  soon discovered the injury had made it impossible to attain the cardiovascular capacity to continue fighting. He began focusing more on other areas of interest such as music and acting which lead him to move to Vancouver from Timmins Ontario.  With his athletic prowess and ability to fight and take punishment, it wasn’t too long before he was approached about doing stunt work.  Frank, often referred to as “Colin Farrell’s Young Brother” is now a triple threat.  He’s a musician, actor and a stuntman.
